Jessica Harrison Honored as Super Women in Business 2024

University Clinical Health is proud to announce that Jessica Harrison, Vice President of Specialty Operations, has been recognized as one of the Memphis Business Journal's Super Women in Business for 2024. This acknowledgement recognizes the area's most talented, innovative, and influential women.

Jessica Harrison is a truly transformative and patient-focused leader, who through strategic leadership has influenced the healthcare landscape in organizations around Memphis since 2011. Jessica has held a series of senior roles, ultimately laying the foundation for her to join University Clinical Health in 2022 in her current position as Vice President of Specialty Operations.

Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in business from The University of Memphis and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Washington. Her academic background and work ethic propelled her to drive growth, optimize operations, and implement cost-effective healthcare solutions. Jessica’s leadership was pivotal in the several organizations, including Ochsner Health System in New Orleans and Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists in Memphis.

At University Clinical Health, Jessica reports directly to the CEO and leads specialty care and laboratory operations. She successfully partners with Physician Leaders, and her strategic acumen is evident in her initiatives to expand services, manage budgets, and optimize operational performance, all while prioritizing an exceptional patient experience. Jessica’s leadership has been instrumental in expanding clinical services to include on-site Optical Shops, implementing patient discount programs for expensive injections, consolidating small locations into UCH’s central medical office home, and improving organization-wide patient experience scores by 5%.

In addition to her current role, Jessica serves as the president of the Midsouth Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), where her leadership continues to resonate across the healthcare community. Recognized in the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2021 and a recent graduate of the 2022 Leadership Memphis Executive Program, Jessica embodies excellence in both her professional endeavors and community service.
