Michael Ryan, Executive Director of IT

Michael Ryan has served as University Clinical Health’s Executive Director of Information Technology since September 2013. He is responsible for overseeing and executing IT strategies to further UCH business strategy and operational plans. Ryan and his team also manage IT needs for all UCH clinics and the UCH Data Center.

Prior to joining UCH, Ryan served seven years at Morgan Keegan, where he oversaw IT needs for more than 250 locations, both national and international. Notably, Ryan also managed a nearly $50M budget, which included new IT solution rollouts as well as creating new departments to better support Morgan Keegan traders and brokers. 

During Ryan’s three decades in IT, he has held leadership positions at MS Carriers, Accredo Health and Morgan Keegan. He is the current Data Governance Board Chair Board for the Tennessee Population Health Data Network Study. He and his wife Leigh Ann live in Memphis, and have two children.
