Brian M. Jerkins, MD, is a medical and surgical glaucoma specialist. Dr. Brian Jerkins graduated from Lipscomb University in 2002 and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2008. He then completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Hamilton Eye Institute in 2012. This was followed by glaucoma fellowship training at LSU/Ochsner Clinical Foundation in New Orleans, LA in 2013.

He joined the faculty as an assistant professor in Ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Hamilton Eye Institute in 2013 until 2015. He then joined Memphis Eye and Cataract Associates in Memphis, TN and practiced through 2017. Dr. Jerkins is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology, Memphis Eye Society, Tennessee Medical Association, and Memphis Medical Association.
